Job summary

Big SNOW in East Rutherford, NJ is seeking a Guest Experience Ambassador to provide outstanding service, encode passes, assist with outfitting and the rental process. You will be a reliable source of information and help guests enjoy a positive visit.

Candidates must be 16+, able to stand long hours in cold conditions, and work afternoons, weekends, and holidays. Lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an unforgettable experience at the resort through customer service, encoding passes, outfitting, and our rental process.
• Be an accurate and reliable source of information for our Guests.
• Assist with guest retail, entry to facility, outfitting, boot fitting/rental equipment and overall positive guest experience.
• Promote and educate guests on product offerings throughout the guest trail.
• Enforce and follow safety procedures for the team and our guests.
• Scan online ticket purchases and encode media for access to rentals, tickets, etc.

How the Guest Experience Ambassador works with the Team:

Provide guests with an unforgettable experience at the resort through customer service, encoding passes, outfitting, and our rental process.

Team Member Responsibilities:

• Be an accurate and reliable source of information for our Guests
• Assist with the guest retail, entry to facility, outfitting, boot fitting/rental equipment and overall positive guest experience
• Promote and educate guests on product offerings throughout the guest trail
• Perform other duties as assigned by Blazer/Guide
• Acknowledging and advocating for our guests needs as it pertains to their experience with Big SNOW
• Enforce and follow safety procedures for the team and our guests
• Scan online ticket purchases and encode media for access to rentals, tickets, etc.
• Validate entry and cards at entry points/lift base
• Support our mission through consistent teamwork, a positive team member experience, earned guest loyalty, mutual respect and continuously striving to be the best

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 or older
• A positive attitude and a commitment to great service.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to stand cold conditions (constant 28 degrees)
• Prior customer service is a plus
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
