Job summary

MAC DISCOUNT LLC is recruiting for a Full-Time Big Box Scanner Associate in Washington, PA. The role involves scanning large items, listing them online, and supporting the Big Box Scan Team lead. You will search products, photograph items, and ensure accurate data for listings.

Expected to lift up to 25 lbs alone and 50 lbs with team assistance, stand/walk for long periods, and follow written directions. High school diploma preferred; on-site schedule varies by workload.

Qualifications

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search products online.
• Take and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item.
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals.

BIG BOX SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
