Job summary

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items online through auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses specialized software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal, handling larger items and reporting to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

The role involves scanning and listing items, taking and cropping photos, verifying auto-pulled data, meeting quantity and quality goals, and performing other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Saturday, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to use scanning software.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours and follow written directions and policies.

Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
