Job summary

You'll review schedules, refine cost estimation, ensure compliance, and represent the company at industry events. The position requires ERP and heavy bid experience, plus a solid grasp of job costing and margin

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with ERP systems and MS Office.
• Understanding of job costing, bid-to-actual results, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Heavy Bid or equivalent software.
• Ability to build a project to determine the best estimation approach.
• Knowledge of industry-specific lines of business and state specifications for traffic control and protection.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Branch Management and Market Manager to shift to value-driven proposals.
• Build customer relationships through proactive engagement, including in-person meetings.
• Review project schedules and provide feedback to leadership on opportunities.
• Develop bidding strategies with management and operations input.
• Lead and participate in bid review calls and cash flow analysis for larger projects.
• Ensure compliance with state and local tax laws and pre-qualifications.
• Refine cost estimation processes with leadership to improve margins.
• Submit monthly Bid Pipeline reports.
• Coordinate with additional estimators as needed.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
