Job summary

Solutions Driven is seeking an Estimator focused on winning heavy civil work through accurate, timely bids. You will evaluate bid specs and drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, solicit quotes, and collaborate with Project Management teams to close business.

This role is based locally with about 25% travel and focuses on bidding and winning work. Qualifications include 3+ years in heavy civil estimating, experience with airfield/roadway paving, and proficiency in MS Office; HCSS Heavy Bid and Civil

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating heavy civil work or equivalent field experience.
• Experience estimating airfield paving, construction paving, or roadways.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate bid specifications and drawings to develop accurate estimates.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and solicit quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with Project Management teams for bid follow-up and budget tracking.
• Manage end-to-end bid process from takeoff to submission, with travel as needed (~25%).
