Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time Secondary Education teacher for grades 6-12 who can demonstrate Bible knowledge and strong teaching abilities in a church–affiliated program. The role requires active church participation, a mature Christian faith, and excellent communication; you will use LifeWise curriculum, plan lessons, and build relationships with students.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for substitutes.
• Foster an encouraging, organized classroom environment.
• Engage with students, pray for them, and build relationships.
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers about schedules.
