Job summary

CorSource Technology Group in Portland, OR, is seeking a Software Developer / Programmer 2 for a 12-month, full-time contract within the Data Integration and Reporting organization. The role involves developing and testing reports, dashboards, and BI solutions using Power BI, SQL Server, and Visual Studio, with emphasis on delivering accurate, timely data.

You will translate requirements, collaborate with the technical team, and ensure milestones are met while complying with federal background

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years IT experience with degree; 5+ years without a degree.
Proficiency with Power BI, Visual Studio, SQL Server and SSRS.
Scripting: VBScript, JavaScript, PowerShell.
Experience designing reports and data models.

Responsibilities

Translate user requirements into functional BI capabilities for internal/external clients.
Perform project technical requirements, design, development and testing of fixed/analytic reports.
Develop static and dynamic reports from a three-tier app (web/server/SQL).
Customize templates via Visual Studio for check-in policies, reports, and tests.
Create/modify reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
Troubleshoot report interoperability in web apps using SQL backend.
Develop customer-focused BI analytics solutions.
Design presentation layers per customer requirements and best practices.
Coordinate milestones with team lead/PM and escalate issues when needed.
Provide issue resolution in coordination with team lead/PM.
