Job summary

HedgeServ Corporation in Dallas seeks an experienced Business Systems Analyst to own front-office applications, with a primary focus on business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization. This role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and QA, ensuring requirements are translated into high-quality product enhancements and solutions.

You will drive Agile delivery, manage Jira backlogs, and support ongoing evolution of key business applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst or Product Analyst experience in hedge funds, fund administration, asset management, or financial services.
• Experience with business intelligence, reporting, or data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledgeable SQL skills to analyze and validate data.
• Experience managing work items and reporting through Jira.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary business and application owner for assigned front-office platforms and reporting solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements and translate them into actionable development work.
• Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and development documentation.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expected user experience.
• Manage Jira backlogs and facilitate Agile delivery processes.
