Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the development and optimization of back-office accounting applications. This role partners closely with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to translate complex business needs into clear requirements, actionable user stories, and measurable outcomes.

You will elicit requirements, manage Agile backlogs, craft process flows, and drive data-driven improvements through analysis, UAT support, and metrics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business analysis within SDLC.
• Gathers requirements, decomposes needs into user stories, and manages Agile backlogs.
• Proficient in SQL; investigates data discrepancies.
• Experience supporting data-intensive projects and AI initiatives.
• Creates process flows using Visio; knowledge of UAT and testing practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to backlog and define solutions.
• Create process flows, mockups, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to align solutions with requirements.
• Clarify requirements and support design, development, and QA activities.
• Facilitate UAT and serve as main contact during testing.
• Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and support process improvements.
• Track progress and contribute to project metrics.
