Job summary

Transcend Credit Union is seeking a friendly, service-focused Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) Teller/Member Services Associate in Louisville, KY. You will handle accurate transactions, offer financial solutions, and deliver exceptional member service at every interaction.

You must be willing to work at any of our 5 branch locations in Bardstown Road, Downtown, Okolona, Middletown, and Dixie Hwy, with a schedule that includes weekdays and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• High School Diploma required.
• Previous teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Successful completion of background check, credit check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Identify member financial needs and recommend Credit Union products and services.
• Build strong, trusting member relationships through prompt, courteous, and reliable service.
• Perform routine financial transactions: deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments & transfers, check cashing.
• Open new accounts and maintain existing accounts with accurate documentation.
• Maintain knowledge of all Credit Union products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Balance cash drawer daily, research discrepancies, and report issues.
• Assist Call Center queue as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Monday–Thursday: 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:15 AM – 6:30 PM
Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Compensation: $21+/hour

Requirements

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, credit check, and drug screen
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to assist Spanish-speaking members effectively.
• High School Diploma required
• Previous teller or cash-handling experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with PCs and standard software systems

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Credit Union products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements—including security and robbery procedures
• Balance cash drawer daily, research discrepancies, and report issues to your supervisor and VP of Operations as required
• Assist the Call Center queue as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
