Job summary

LeoForce, a reputable manufacturing company in Schaumburg, IL, is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee employee relations, benefits administration, and policy development.

You will manage the HRIS, lead recruitment from posting to selection, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and support management with performance improvement plans and training.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in manufacturing HR, with availability to cover 6am–3pm shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a similar HR Generalist role within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS data management and reporting.
  • Proven track record in recruiting, labor relations, payroll and benefits.
  • Excellent knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

What you will be doing:


  • Oversee employee relations, providing guidance and advice to management on complex HR issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

  • Maintain and optimize the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for efficient data management and reporting.

  • Lead recruitment efforts, from job posting to candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

  • Participate in performance evaluation processes and manage employee performance improvement plans.

  • Collaborate with management to identify HR needs, develop strategies, and implement solutions to meet organizational goals.


Skills you must have:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry- strong ability to multitask across HR competencies.

  • Strong knowledge of HRIS for efficient data management and reporting for C-level stakeholders.

  • Proven track record in recruiting, including candidate screening and selection, employee and labor relations, compliance, payroll and benefits.

  • Excellent knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

  • Ability to work one day 6am-3pm to handle HR questions from the varying shifts
