Job summary

Core-Mark International in Westlake, Texas is seeking a Manager of Business Intelligence to lead our data analytics strategy, transform data into insights, and drive growth in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The ideal candidate will build and mentor a high-performing BI team, develop dashboards and reports with Power BI, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and establish metrics to improve operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, CS, or related field.
• 3+ years in BI or data analytics with at least 1 year in leadership.
• Proven ability to translate data into business insights.
• Experience leading data projects using Scrum or Agile.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and data management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with goals.
• Collaborate with executives to identify opportunities for data-driven growth.
• Oversee data collection, organization, and analysis across units.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
• Lead design and deployment of BI dashboards and reports.
• Build and mentor a team of data analysts and Power BI developers.
• Establish KPIs and provide performance feedback.
• Present insights to senior management clearly.
• Stay current with BI trends and drive continuous improvement.
