Job summary

Transamerica Corporation is seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence to lead a BI team and drive the strategic BI roadmap across retirement solutions. Hybrid work arrangement offered across Cedar Rapids, Denver, and Philadelphia locations.

The role requires a Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent, 2+ years with the MS BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS), and experience delivering enterprise BI projects using SQL Server and Cognos. Strong mentoring and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in full Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Experience managing Enterprise Data Warehouse environments and BI delivery.
• Experience leading BI projects with SQL Server and IBM Cognos.
• ETL development for Data Warehouses/Data Marts; mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-5 BI developers and analysts in agile dashboard/data asset delivery.
• Advance BI strategy, standards, and architecture practices.
• Guide BI tool evaluation and data structures improvements.
• Collaborate with business units to model requirements and ensure quality.
• Manage priorities, resources, and vendor involvement as needed.
