Job summary

Amazon seeks a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer II for AWF Exports Visibility in Bellevue. You will write optimized SQL, build scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists and product teams to improve forecasting metrics and dashboards.

You will define business metrics, develop reporting solutions, and deliver insights across cross-functional teams, leveraging Tableau/Quicksight and Python for data processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
• 3+ years SQL, ETL or Oracle experience
• 3+ years processing large, multi-dimensional datasets
• 3+ years performing statistical analysis
• 3+ years developing automated reporting
• 3+ years in the job offered or related occupation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines
• Experience using SQL to pull data and Python for data processing

Responsibilities

• Write high quality optimized SQL to retrieve and analyze data from relational databases (e.g., Redshift)
• Collaborate with BI teams to design and implement ETL data pipelines for billions of records
• Work with Data Engineers and business users to design clean data sources for analytics
• Partner with data scientists and product management to drive data-driven improvements
• Create user-friendly, repeatable reporting solutions to minimize ad hoc requests
• Define and develop business-critical metrics, reports, KPIs, and financials across forecasting products
