Job summary

Amazon's Alexa devices BI team is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to build large reporting objects in the Devices Forecasting space and to develop ETL pipelines, supporting Tableau and QuickSight dashboards.

You will partner with product managers, data engineers and software developers to gather requirements, design datasets and metrics, and deliver analytics that drive key business decisions while thriving in Amazon's fast-paced Day 1 culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab.

Responsibilities

• Interface with product managers, data engineers and software developers, gather requirements and deliver analytics/reporting solutions.
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of datasets, metrics, reports, analyses, etc. to drive key business decisions.
• Build and maintain Tableau or Quicksight Dashboards. Create data cubes and automated pipelines to power these dashboards.
• Help product teams with analytical deep dives to help support MBRs.
