Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC, through Amazon Worldwide Fulfillment, is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to design and optimize data products and reporting for cross-border logistics in Bellevue.

You will write high quality SQL, build ETL data pipelines, partner with Data Engineers and product teams, and develop metrics and dashboards to drive data-driven decisions across forecasting products and services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
• 3+ years of SQL, ETL or Oracle experience.
• 3+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience.
• 3+ years of performing statistical analysis experience.
• 3+ years of developing automated reporting experience.
• 3+ years of in the job offered or a related occupation experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience using SQL to pull data and Python scripting for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality optimized SQL to retrieve and analyze data from relational databases (ex. Redshift).
• Collaborate with other BI teams to design and implement ETL data pipelines for billions of records.
• Work with Data Engineers and business users to design scalable data sources for analytics and reporting.
• Partner with data scientists and product management to drive data-driven improvements.
• Create user-friendly, repeatable reporting solutions to minimize ad hoc requests.
• Define and develop metrics, reports, KPIs, and financials across forecasting products.
