Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to build datasets, metrics, and dashboards that track infrastructure delivery from intake to deployment. You will collaborate with senior BI engineers, data engineers, and business partners to turn questions into reliable data.

In this role you will work with AWS data tools like Redshift, S3 and QuickSight, learning the business and growing through code reviews and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data analysis with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL experience.
• Experience visualizing data with Tableau, QuickSight, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI) and stats methods (t-test, Chi-squared).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or R.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into queries, data models, and dashboards.
• Build and maintain datasets, ETL pipelines, and dashboards using SQL, Python, and AWS tools (Redshift, S3, QuickSight).
• Adhere to code reviews, data quality checks, documentation, and monitoring standards.
• Run pipeline health checks and diagnose data issues with root-cause analysis.
• Analyze data to answer business questions and clearly explain findings with caveats.
• Maintain data contracts and identify data gaps or inconsistencies.
• Explore AI tools and new approaches to speed up analysis.
• Learn from code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
