Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Delivery Manager to support end-to-end BI and data initiatives across a complex organisation. You will maintain delivery plans, track progress, and escalate risks to BI leadership while coordinating with PMO and delivery leads.

You will apply agile and hybrid delivery frameworks, manage capacity, and ensure governance and timely delivery. UK-wide travel is expected to support multi-team delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting end-to-end delivery of data, BI, or digital initiatives.
• Experience operating in a delivery, operations, or programme role within a complex organisation.
• Proven experience of working in a PMO or delivery management function that operates agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong capability in planning, prioritisation, and capacity management.
• Experience designing, applying, or operating delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or structured).
• Experience leading or coordinating operational teams to deliver reliable day-to-day service.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to provide clear delivery updates.

Responsibilities

• Maintains delivery plans, trackers, and status updates.
• Highlights slippage or risks and escalates to BI managers and leadership.
• Applies delivery frameworks and ensures governance and assurance requirements are met.
• Allocates tasks and clarifies priorities for BI Administrators and leaders.
• Maintains capacity views and supports planning discussions led by BI leadership.
• Supports continuous improvement of delivery mechanisms and reporting.
