BHOM Leasing & Marketing Manager (Administrative)

The Leasing Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the leasing and marketing functions of the property/properties, ensuring occupancy and resident retention meet goals, and that leasing team members meet their targets while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Overview:

  • Create, implement, evaluate, and track marketing plans based on occupancy goals and market conditions; adjust strategies as needed; analyze university and community market trends to identify new marketing opportunities; manage all reporting related to marketing and leasing.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and coach leasing team members and Community Ambassadors; develop comprehensive training programs around leasing, touring, and customer service; manage team schedules.
  • Develop marketing opportunities aligned with campus events such as housing fairs, homecoming, student club activities, and other organization events; build relationships with college/university representatives to attract new student groups.
  • Participate actively in leasing and marketing activities including sales calls, tours, and property presentations; ensure model units and tour areas are in show-ready condition; oversee marketing materials and advertising content; review and approve leasing files for accuracy and completeness.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary state leasing licenses within legal timeframes where required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and monitor weekly, monthly, and annual marketing plans; adjust strategies to meet occupancy targets; analyze market trends for additional opportunities.
  • Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and coaching leasing staff and Community Ambassadors; develop training programs; manage team schedules.
  • Review and approve leasing files for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and review reports, including market analysis, enrollment, housing facilities, campus calendars, and new development updates.
  • Manage marketing initiatives related to campus events and build relationships with university representatives.
  • Engage in leasing and marketing activities such as sales calls, tours, and property presentations; ensure all marketing materials are current and accessible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong computer skills, including social media.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Knowledge of Entrata software.
  • Previous experience in student housing.

Work Schedule: Generally 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with extended hours and weekends as needed to meet business requirements.
