The State of Missouri, Bellefontaine Habilitation Center in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Behavioral Technician to support the Behavioral Department. You will assist with training on Behavior Support Plans and monitor consumer behaviors during interventions, documenting data and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.
The role requires holiday work and potential shift variations; a valid driver’s license and RBT certification are required or pursued.
This position will be located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center in the Behavioral Department, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday/Sunday off. This position requires working on holidays. May need to flex hours for duties on all three shifts, as discussed with the supervisor.

A Behavioral Technician working in the Behavioral Department assist the department with training and follow up training on Behavior Support Plans and assists with behaviors of consumers as needed. This position collects, communicates, and records behavior data during interventions and observations, writes summaries or incident documentation, participates in interdisciplinary team (ID) meetings. This position should be able to model appropriate behavioral intervention strategies for staff during consumer escalations (non-physical and within approved frameworks). These are some of the duties required by this position.
