Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions, offering suggestions.
• Collaborate with associates to promote teamwork and achieve store goals.
• Prepare beverages to recipe standards and fulfill customer requests using proper equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials.
• Provide fresh products in correct portion sizes and minimize shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs.
• Use equipment in the coffee shop and manage inventory of ingredients.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates, taking action as needed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions; follow safety procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks; report theft or fraud.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced or stressful environments and manage conflicts constructively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues; assist minors and individuals with special needs as required.
