The Beverage Shift Manager oversees the management and operational effectiveness of bars, lounges, convention bars, and other beverage outlets during each shift.
Responsibilities:
- Develops accurate and aggressive long- and short-term financial objectives related to beverage service, distribution, and sales for the Beverage Department.
- Develops and manages beverage and sales programs.
- Manages programs and processes to control and reduce lost time injuries.
- Schedules staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels and ensure optimal service to enhance the gaming experience at Live! Casino and Hotel.
- Manages sales, marketing, and promotion programs for the Food & Beverage Department, acting as liaison with Marketing, Promotions, and Public Relations.
- Implements local sales promotion programs and develops promotional activities in lounges and bars.
- Maintains department’s financial data, including cost and portion controls.
- Reviews beverage processes, activities, and inventory control with the Director of Beverage.
- Handles various tasks and deadlines requiring an irregular work schedule.
- Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; a four-year degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of management experience in Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or related fields.
- Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
- Must obtain and maintain licensure as required by regulatory authorities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods.
- Use of hands and fingers; reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Sufficient vision to review documents and operate a computer.
