Job summary

Grand Casino Hinckley is seeking a Beverage Shift Supervisor to oversee bar operations, ensure quality drinks, and manage the beverage team during shifts. You will monitor inventory, enforce safety standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring several years in beverage service and supervisory experience, plus Serv-Safe and Alcohol Awareness training. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a guest-centric approach in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressive Food & Beverage experience, with a strong knowledge of beverages and drink prep techniques.
• Two years of supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality.
• Serv-Safe Certification. Training provided within one year of placement.
• Alcohol Awareness training. Training provided within 2 months of employment.
• Must secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in hiring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of beverage service, including bar operations and drink preparation.
• Ensure beverages are prepared and served to established recipes and standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to maintain stock.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Lead and supervise the beverage team, providing training and feedback.
• Foster a positive work environment and exceptional customer service.
• Schedule shifts to ensure coverage during peak hours.
• Lead by example with professionalism and a customer-centric mindset.
• Provide exceptional guest service and address inquiries professionally.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues to enhance experience.
• Train team members on product knowledge and service best practices.
• Keep the team informed about new offerings and promotions.
• Monitor beverage quality, consistency and presentation.
• Inspect equipment and bar cleanliness; address issues.
• Prepare reports on beverage sales and inventory.
• Additional duties as assigned.
