Job summary

Erickson Senior Living in Ashburn, VA, is seeking part-time Servers / Food Runners to join our Dogwood Pub dining team. You will take and input orders, deliver meals, and ensure residents and guests have an exceptional dining experience in a friendly, fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates are energetic, with customer-service experience; weekend and holiday availability is a plus. We offer competitive pay, benefits eligibility, and opportunities to grow within a senior living community.

Qualifications

• Prior service and/or kitchen experience preferred, but training provided.
• Friendly and energetic communication during guest interactions.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Strong work ethic and positive, team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on menu items, daily specials, and preparation methods.
• Engage with residents and guests by sharing daily menu highlights and recommendations based on their preferences.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders and deliver a dining experience.
• Coordinate food orders to support timely delivery to each table.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct tables and seat positions.
• Communicate any guest information to the server.
• Assist servers in clearing soiled dishes.

Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living is hiring part time Servers /Food Runners for our restaurants in Ashburn, Virginia. Our senior living community takes the time to really get to know each other, and we strive to create engaging and memorable experiences. Come join our team and have fun!

As a Server, you are responsible for serving residents and guests meals in a friendly, service-oriented manner. The server records and inputs beverage and food orders into the POS system, delivers and serves food, and ensures exceptional guest service. This position requires the ability to multi-task with a sense of urgency. Assignments include Serving, Busser, Runner, Meal Plater, Catering and Utility in our Dogwood Pub.

• Compensation: $15.00 to $18.00 an hour, commensurate with experience
• Regular part time schedules are typically 4:15 pm - 8:00 pm
