Job summary

Bally's Vicksburg in Mississippi is seeking a beverage server to deliver friendly, fast service to guests at the casino bar. You will take drink orders, relay them to the bartender and ensure guests are comfortable and attended to.

Responsibilities include monitoring guest intoxication signals and escalating to supervision as needed, while keeping the Shift Manager informed of issues. High school diploma or better is required, with beverage experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Previous beverage experience in a high-volume, sophisticated bar/casino preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

• Monitors guests’ drink consumption to prevent intoxication; notifies supervisors if intoxication occurs.
• Keeps the Shift Manager informed of problems and issues.

• Takes beverage orders from guests and relays orders to bartender. Required to remember the guest, their location, and the drink order.
• Monitors the guests’ drink consumption to try to prevent guest(s) from becoming intoxicated. Notifies proper supervisory personnel if a guest does appear intoxicated.
• Keeps the Shift Manager informed of any problems and issues

Compensation:

• $7.50 per hour plus tips
