Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, is seeking a Sales Consultant in Training to support, service, and maintain retail accounts. This role focuses on stocking shelves, coolers, and building displays while working to meet sales objectives.

As a Sales Trainee/Merchandiser, you will manage territory, promote products, run in-store tastings, and handle merchandising tasks such as shelf placement and inventory stocking.

Qualifications

• 4 year BA/BS college degree or related industry experience (preferred).
• Prior sales experience (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goals and results driven.
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives and manage assigned territory.
• Sell current and new products and participate in promotions.
• Conduct in-store tastings and service accounts.
• Merchandising duties include shelf placement, cold boxes, displays and stocking.
