Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, is seeking a Sales Consultant in Training in the Kearney area. The role supports, services, and maintains accounts, stocks shelves, builds displays, and follows up after deliveries.

The position trains new personnel for future sales territory responsibilities and requires customer-service orientation, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50-pound cases. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in liquor industry preferred (bartender, wait staff, liquor store, etc.).
• Goal- and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
• Professional written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Travels around assigned territory to service accounts.
• Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in stock and service the accounts.
• Fills shelves from displays and back stock to minimize out-of-stock items.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers.
• Communicates with Sales Consultants regarding buyer preferences, inventory, and shelf space concerns.
• Builds trust with retailers by upholding Johnson Brothers values and providing excellent customer service.
• Performs other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
