Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking a dynamic sales professional to grow an established customer base across Newton/Pella/Oskaloosa/Ottumwa and surroundings. You will manage territory, present products, and build strong relationships with business customers.

Role requires excellent communication, a strong drive for results, and willingness to work outside standard hours to reach accounts, including evenings and occasional weekends. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or related industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Goals and results driven.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Local candidates preferred; no relocation package.
• Desire to sell and create professional presentations.
• Prior wine/spirits sales experience preferred.
• Availability to work outside 8–5 hours; evenings and some weekends.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal oriented.
• Ability to connect with a wide range of buyer types and communicate clearly.
• Ability to lift up to 54 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Territory management: maintain customer contact, plan and execute sales initiatives, address issues promptly.
• Selling: understand products/pricing, deliver presentations, grow business and identify new accounts.
• Resources: utilize POS data, know deals and initiatives offered by the company.
• Servicing: conduct reliable customer service and face-to-face interactions.
• Administration: follow policies and handle paperwork timely.
