Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company is seeking a Sales Consultant to achieve sales objectives across assigned accounts in the Brandon, FL area. You will manage territory routes, promote current and new products, and support merchandising efforts in-store.

Responsibilities include delivering presentations, maintaining stock levels, and training staff on priority brands. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training preferred.
• A understanding of wine and spirits is highly preferred.
• Strong accounting, computer, customer service and interpersonal expertise preferred.
• Must be results-oriented with excellent verbal/written communication; multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office and presentation software.
• Familiarity with assigned territory is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies/preplans to achieve sales and merchandising objectives and maintain accurate account data.
• Call on accounts and cover daily routes with an established routing pattern.
• Analyze the account base and identify opportunities; complete surveys and ensure national account compliance as applicable.
• Deliver professional sales presentations to customers, promoting displays, new products, cold box, shelf, and promotions.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves; alert management to fluctuations in demand.
• Achieve distribution, volume and activity goals set by management for supplier brands.
• Maintain brand visibility by using current POS materials and meeting account standards.
• Collect payments and remittance from accounts where legally permissible; manage credits/returns.
