Shaner Hotels' Buffalo Marriott LECOM Harborcenter is seeking a Bar Supervisor/Bartender to lead beverage operations, craft cocktails, and manage inventories. The role requires flexible full-time availability and a focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, menu development, labor control, and collaboration with management to ensure exceptional service and adherence to liquor laws. Benefits and hotel discounts accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Have extensive experience as a Leader within similar environment including restaurant, hotel, catering or other fast paced high-end establishments.
• Have Valid Serving It Right and Food Safe certificates. Certificate in mixology &/or hands on Bartending experience is a must
• Have an excellent command of both spoken and written English. Knowledge of a Spanish will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall bar operations by innovating Beverage programs including cocktail, wine, mocktails, flights, events, procurement, supplier connections, inventory, and recipe management.
• Work full time on a flexible schedule based on operational needs (approx. 4 days as Bar Supervisor/Bartender and 1 day for innovation and menu development).
• Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while maximizing quality of service.
• Develop and maintain relationships with guests and regional industry associates; ensure high level beverage quality and service.
• Develop goals and strategies to achieve them and lead the bar team to meet standards
