Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is seeking a Beverage Manager to oversee bars and beverage outlets across the property. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, manage menus, and drive beverage sales within budgeted labor and cost controls, while delivering guest satisfaction in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Strong leadership, sales focus, and knowledge of wine and spirits are essential for success.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
Two years of progressive high-volume food and beverage experience preferred.
Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

Hire, train, develop, and supervise beverage staff.
Prepare Team Member schedules, organize workloads and staff assignments; train and motivate staff.
Update beverage menus and ensure training on recipes.
Develop short- and long-range financial objectives to liquor sales while controlling labor and costs.
Manage department financial data to maintain cost and portion controls.
Collaborate with management on promotions and sales initiatives.
Assist bartenders and servers in general duties as needed.
Ensure guest satisfaction through interactions with guests and team members.
Communicate guest compliments or complaints to management.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene codes and standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
