Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is seeking an Assistant Beverage Manager to lead the daily operations of beverage outlets on the property. You will hire, train, and develop staff, plan workloads, set standards, and monitor service quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

In this role, you will collaborate with management on promotions, manage day-to-day tasks, and ensure compliance with health and safety codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two to three years progressive experience in a full-service dining environment preferred.
• Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the hiring, training, development and efficient management of Beverage staff.
• Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates and evaluates staff.
• Establishes department standards, guidelines, and objectives, and budgeting and staffing processes.
• Supervises beverage staff to ensure efficient and satisfactory customer service.
• Works with management to review beverage activities and promotions.
• Assists leadership in daily tasks and projects.
• Monitors operations to ensure staffing, guest service and quality.
• Ensures health, safety, hygiene compliance and standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
