Job summary

Oldfield Club in Okatie, SC is seeking a full-time Beverage Manager to lead the Club’s beverage program, oversee the Rookery Bar, Magnolia Room, and River Club, and support banquets and member events. The role emphasizes hospitality, staff development, and fiscal accountability within a growing private club environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive beverage, bar, restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club management experience.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cocktails, and current beverage trends.
• Experience leading and developing a service team.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and applicable regulations.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory systems, Microsoft Office, and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day beverage operations across the Club’s venues.
• Manage the Wine Club program and wine program.
• Establish beverage standards, menus, pricing, and training.
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, and relationships with distributors.
• Develop beverage experiences and member events that enhance the experience.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership on pairings and events.
• Support clubhouse renovation planning for beverage spaces.
