Milo’s Tea Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee production staff, enforce safety, and drive efficiency in our beverages facility in Spartanburg, SC. You will implement policies, monitor performance, and collaborate with HR to maintain morale while upholding quality and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates bring experience in food or beverage production, comfort with reports and computer systems, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree preferred but not required; experience in production environments encouraged.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak before groups.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Improve safety processes and behaviors to prevent accidents.
• Plan, schedule and execute production operations and set priorities.
• Ensure process controls for operational consistency.
• Maintain HACCP knowledge and plant sanitation.
• Review reports and resolve production and maintenance issues.
• Aim for efficiency, waste reduction, and cost control.
• Inspect equipment for performance and utilization.
• Develop and implement standard operating practices.
• Manage employee performance and adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with HR on employee relations and morale.
• Collect, store, and retrieve production data.
• Work with other departments to achieve goals.
• Recommend changes in methods/equipment to meet objectives.
• Establish line performance standards and action plans.
