Job summary

Sunny Sky Products in Douglassville, PA is seeking a Processor – Production Associate to support batching and processing operations in the Batching/Processing area. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for proper batching, processing, and documentation to ensure product quality and safety.

The position is full-time, hourly, with a 12-hour shift pattern (3 days one week, 4 days the next) and a Sunday/Monday/Tuesday schedule plus alternating Saturday.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing as a processor / batcher / blender.
• Ability to operate / understand computer systems and machinery.
• Knowledgeable in basic mathematics.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good record keeping.
• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedule and plan the day’s activities.
• Verify cleanliness of all production equipment before start-up.
• Batch products and add vitamins as required.
• Record lot numbers on batch sheets.
• Monitor ingredients for wholesomeness during shifts.
• Manage SAP with ingredients and materials identifications.
• Maintain hourly check documents and monitor UHT processes.
• Notify Management or Maintenance of issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure product quality.
