Job summary

Sunny Sky Products in Douglassville, PA is seeking a Packaging Associate to join our growing team. You will package products from the production line, ensure components are included, and operate labeling and sealing equipment.

You will monitor quality, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and follow GMP and food safety standards. The role offers 12-hour shifts, competitive pay with a shift differential, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedules and prepare for runs.
• Package products and insert components into boxes.
• Set up and monitor case erectors, top sealers, and labeling systems.
• Keep equipment clean and ready before startup.
• Monitor labeling accuracy and product quality.
• Document waste, leaks, and rework.
• Report issues to maintenance and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and GMP compliance.

Job description

Sunny Sky Products - Douglassville is a leading aseptic beverage manufacturer located in Douglassville, PA. We specialize in processing shelf-stable dairy, coffee beverages, and coffee creamers. Our company is rapidly growing and is seeking passionate people to join our team.

We are looking for a Packaging Associate who will be responsible for placing finished goods of product into boxes from the production line, placing nozzles into the boxes, placing boxes into the box maker, replacing tape on the top sealer, and ensuring top-quality packaging of all products.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedules and prepare for assigned production runs.
• Package products by placing bags into boxes and inserting required components (nozzles, tubes, etc.).
• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including case erectors, top sealers, labeling systems, and robotic systems.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and ready prior to startup.
• Monitor labeling accuracy and overall product quality throughout the shift.
• Inspect products, manage leakers, and document any waste or reworked product.
• Report any abnormalities to management and mechanical issues to maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and GMPs is required.

Our production team runs on 12-hour shifts, 3 days one week, and 4 days the following week.

• Crew D- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & every other Saturday- 3 PM- 3:30 AM

Salary

• $18.50 per hour base rate, plus a $2.00 shift differential
