Job summary

Sunny Sky Products in Douglassville is hiring a Packaging Associate responsible for packaging finished goods, monitoring equipment, and ensuring product quality. This full-time position involves 12-hour shifts with a work schedule of Sunday to Tuesday and every other Saturday, from 3 AM to 3:30 PM.

The ideal candidate should have 1+ year of manufacturing experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and possess strong communication skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, sign-up bonus, and a 401K program.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus.

Sunny Sky Products - Douglassville is a leading aseptic beverage manufacturer located in Douglassville, PA. We specialize in processing shelf-stable dairy, coffee beverages, and coffee creamers. Our company is rapidly growing and is seeking passionate people to join our team.

We are looking for a Packaging Associate who will be responsible for placing finished goods of product into boxes from the production line, placing nozzles into the boxes, placing boxes into the box maker, replacing tape on the top sealer, and ensuring top-quality packaging of all products.

Responsibilities

• Review daily production schedules and prepare for assigned production runs.
• Package products by placing bags into boxes and inserting required components (nozzles, tubes, etc.).
• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment, including case erectors, top sealers, labeling systems, and robotic systems.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and ready prior to startup.
• Monitor labeling accuracy and overall product quality throughout the shift.
• Inspect products, manage leakers, and document any waste or reworked product.
• Report any abnormalities to management and mechanical issues to maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and food safety standards.

• Basic understanding of machinery and computer systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

Our production team runs on 12-hour shifts, 3 days one week, and 4 days the following week.
