Our client, a beverage manufacturing and packaging operation, seeks a Maintenance Technician in Wilson, NC. You will perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, and drive uptime while ensuring safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• GMP knowledge and food safety understanding (SQF).
• Ability to read machinery blueprints and parts manuals.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment with innovative thinking to support continuous improvement.
• Must be able to work without supervision and demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Must obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance and repairs on beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, conveyor systems, and PLC-based equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems to minimize production downtime while protecting food safety, product quality, and personnel safety.
• Complete repair maintenance, preventive maintenance, and line changeovers with a high standard across the installed asset base.
• Observe and discuss equipment performance, then recommend maintenance activities that improve reliability and operational efficiency.
• Complete, document, and retrieve final approvals on assigned work orders, including recording utilized part numbers for inventory purposes, and communicate maintenance and production updates from shift to shift.
