Job summary

The Maggiore Group is seeking an experienced Beverage Operations Manager to oversee beverage programs across our Arizona restaurant concepts. You will develop innovative menus, control costs, and elevate guest experiences with a focus on consistency and quality.

Lead daily shifts, mentor front-of-house and bar teams, and partner with vendors to ensure product quality and food safety. If you thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoy building scalable systems, we'd love to meet you.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of bartending experience
• 1–3 years restaurant management experience
• Proven experience developing beverage programs and managing restaurant operations
• Strong understanding of beverage purchasing, inventory, storage, and sanitation
• Experience controlling COGS, labor, guest retention, and operations
• ServSafe Certification required
• Thorough knowledge of restaurant safety and sanitation standards
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute beverage programs tailored to each restaurant concept.
• Create seasonal cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages.
• Develop standardized drink recipes, specifications, and costing.
• Analyze beverage cost of goods sold (COGS) and implement profitability improvements.
• Select spirits, wines, beers, and mixers with purchasing standards and par levels.
• Lead daily shifts and support FOH staff across locations.
• Train, mentor, and support bartending and service teams.
• Create bar training manuals, recipes, specifications, and standards.
• Ensure beverage recipes, presentations, garnishes, portions, and pricing meet standards.
• Partner with vendors to ensure quality products and proper food safety practices.
