Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a Beverage Operations Manager to oversee all beverage outlets, including bars and lounges, ensuring premier service quality and daily revenue growth. You will recruit, coach and supervise staff, manage inventory and supplier relationships, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong leadership, knowledge of liquor laws, and a focus on guest experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; two years supervisory experience in a bar/lounge with full liquor license.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred: Two years of college.
Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server’s License prior to hire date.
Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

Oversee the beverage outlets including bars and restaurants, ensuring smooth operation and high standards.
Hire, train, schedule, and direct staff; address complaints and resolve issues.
Manage beverage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Coach and lead staff to create a positive environment and ensure compliance with policies.
Ensure safe handling of service equipment; report issues promptly.
