Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a full-time bartender to provide fast, friendly beverage and food service at multiple bars and restaurants in Albuquerque, NM. You will craft cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks while ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to alcohol-service regulations.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the bar, handling transactions on the POS system, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean work area in compliance with health/safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic communication and math skills.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• 6 months to 1 year bartending/ barback experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of basic cocktails (preferred).
• POS familiarity (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional service to guests by taking orders and making recommendations.
• Crafts and serves a wide range of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Serves food items as required and prepares drinks with proper pouring portions.
• Sets up the bar area at the start of shift and restocks.
• Adheres to all alcohol service laws and verifies age of patrons.
• Maintains a clean bar and workstation per health guidelines.
• Operates POS system and ensures accurate transactions.
