Job summary

WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC is seeking a Beverage Shift Supervisor to lead the beverage service team during assigned shifts. You will manage staffing, inventory, cash handling, and guest service to ensure top-quality experience across our bars and venues.

You will oversee training, schedule coverage, enforce policies, and collaborate with the Beverage Manager to optimize operations. A strong background in high-volume hospitality with POS and budgeting is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Associate degree or equivalent related experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in food and beverage management, with a minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity in a high-volume beverage gaming operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong point-of-sale (POS) operational and programming experience.
• Knowledge of government health, hotel, or food service regulations.
• Proficiency in operational financial management, accountability, and budgeting.
• Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
• ServSafe certification.
• TIPS Alcohol Awareness certification.
• Responsible for selling, serving, or distributing alcoholic beverages and/or exercising comp authority.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and maintain the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming.
• Provide tools, training, communication, and supplies for the beverage team to deliver exemplary guest service.
• Assist in scheduling beverage team members to ensure coverage during operating hours and events.
• Monitor par levels and daily inventory of supplies.
• Maintain beverage inventory and supplies in accordance with business demands.
• Participate in weekly inventory and assist the Beverage Manager with orders.
• Ensure payment and/or comp authorization is received upon service of all food and beverage items.
• Assist staff with cash-register balancing at end of shift and report discrepancies to Finance.
• Ensure prompt, efficient, friendly, and quality beverage service for guests.
• Comply with training requirements (SMART or TIPS).
• Authorize comp transactions.
• Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
