Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company in Texas seeks a Swing Sales Rep-Merchandiser to install and replace permanent and promotional POS items, design displays, and maximize brand visibility at assigned accounts.

The role supports Sales Reps, builds relationships with retailers, drives product placement and shelf space, and ensures proper pricing and stock while adhering to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with handheld sales units (DA units) is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including data entry and simple reports are expected.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Effective communication with retailers and team members is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Must be able to lift up to 165 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace permanent and promo POS items to maximize visibility.
• Design and build promotional displays at assigned accounts.
• Reset, rotate, and stock products to ensure availability.
• Maintain regular call frequency with retail accounts to sell products and gain distribution.
• Promote company brands through promotions, education, and merchandising.
• Ensure proper pricing, shelf space, and display coverage at stores.
• Collaborate with store staff to understand needs and design solutions.
• Report store conditions and opportunities to Area Sales Manager.
• Attend daily/regular meetings to discuss market opportunities.
