Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchandiser to join our team. The merchandiser will stock shelves, rotate products, set up displays, stock coolers, manage backroom organization, and move products to the sales floor.

They will also accurately order products for the next delivery. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform basic financial calculations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to perform basic financial calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Fills and merchandises coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors according to PBV standards.
• Sells and executes all promotions.
• Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
• Develops good customer relations.
• Serves all customers as scheduled.
• Orders product and/or runs invoices.
• Cleans equipment and maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion, rotates stock.
• Other duties as assigned.
