Job summary

ARIA, part of MGM Resorts International, is seeking a Beverage Manager to lead the Beverage and Cocktails team and drive service excellence across all ARIA beverage venues. You will direct staffing, scheduling, training, and performance to meet financial and guest-satisfaction targets.

The ideal candidate has prior resort beverage leadership experience, a 21+ age requirement, and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience preferred in beverage operations or similar hospitality settings.
  • Previous experience in a resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily beverage operations and fiscal budgets across ARIA beverage venues.
  • Lead and coach the Beverage team, including Assistant Beverage Managers and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with state liquor regulations and MGM Resorts policies.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain elevated service and profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation, inventory, and quality control.

You will lead Assistant Beverage Managers and beverage team members in achieving operational and financial goals across the property's beverage venues, while overseeing staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and facility standards. You will help ensure consistent execution, strong team performance, high guest satisfaction, and an exceptional beverage experience throughout ARIA, in accordance with MGM Resorts policies and procedures.**THE SCHEDULE:** This will be primarily a swing shift but may vary due to business needs**THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Responsible for monitoring of daily beverage operations, fiscal budgets, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability. Accountable for par levels for supplies, liquor, beer, wine and equipment, completing requisitions to replenish shortages or additional items needed for the anticipated business.* Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, work schedules, rules and regulations for the beverage staff.* Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and coach beverage staff for the efficient operation of the department. Drive employee engagement through coaching, training, and development.* Collaborate with Human Resources regarding employee relations.* Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness in all areas of Beverage.
