Job summary

IP Casino Resort Spa - Biloxi is seeking a Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the performance of all beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with company standards and liquor/health regulations. You will monitor administrative duties and staffing, and assist the Food & Beverage Director with budget goals.

The role involves managing personnel matters, maintaining service standards, and representing the Beverage Department in hearings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must have thorough knowledge of service standards, beverage products, preparations, and presentation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Workday along with other software products preferred.
  • Job holder may be exposed to casino environmental factors including noise and secondhand smoke.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications. Complete required background requirements.

  • Monitor staffing levels of all Beverage outlets and assist supervisors in making adjustments according to business needs.
  • Assist the Food & Beverage Director in establishing budget goals and objectives and monitoring financial aspects of the Beverage Department.
  • Responsible for personnel-related matters including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging.
  • Establish and monitor adherence to standards of service for each beverage outlet.
  • Represent the Beverage Department in labor matters, unemployment hearings, and other internal and external employee-related hearings as needed.
