Job summary

Virginia Eagle Distributing (VED) is seeking a dependable Merchandiser for our Verona/Fredericksburg route. You will stock shelves, build displays, rotate products, and ensure our brands look great at each account.

This is a physical field role, Monday–Friday, driving a company vehicle and representing VED at in‑store locations. Retail stocking or CPG experience is a plus; join a team delivering Virginia’s favorite beverages.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 15-40+ lbs repeatedly.
• Basic math skills for quantity verification.
• Comfortable using handheld scanner and tablet for documentation.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to assigned retail accounts and stock shelves, coolers, and displays per plan‑ogram and brand standards.
• Rotate product at each visit to ensure date compliance and document any out‑of‑code items.
• Build and maintain point‑of‑sale displays and floor stacks to brand standards.
• Execute promotional programs, new item placements, and pricing as directed.
• Provide courteous service to store staff and communicate account needs to Sales Rep or Manager.
• Report shelf conditions, out‑of‑stocks, and competitive activity.
