Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient Beverage Custodian to join our team in Michigan City. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beverage inventory, ensuring quality control, and supporting daily beverage service operations.

• Manage and maintain beverage inventory levels through regular monitoring and ordering
• Conduct quality control checks on beverage products and equipment
• Organize and stock beverage storage areas according to established protocols
• Track and document beverage usage, waste, and inventory records
• Ensure proper rotation of products following FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of beverage storage areas
• Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and inventory replenishment
• Support service staff by ensuring beverage availability during peak times
• Implement and maintain proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Report equipment maintenance needs and coordinate repairs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in beverage operations or related field
• Food Handler's certification preferred
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Proficiency in inventory management and record keeping
• Strong mathematical skills for inventory calculations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication abilities
• Physical capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
