Job summary

Red Bull is seeking a Category Manager to turn data and market insights into actionable business recommendations. You’ll drive category development and management while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Insights teams to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions.

The role emphasizes analytics, strong communication, and stakeholder management across Chicago or Dallas locations. Base salary includes incentives, with opportunities to influence beverage growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in CPG, retail, or syndicated data with a focus on category management, sales, analytics, or shopper insights.
• Strong experience leveraging syndicated data (Nielsen, Circana), POS/loyalty (84.51, dunnhumby), and panel data to drive sales and share growth.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling stories.
• Proven ability to build collaborative partnerships with retail customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of retail merchandising and in-store execution.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customer partners and provide category insights.
• Develop expertise in category trends, consumer behavior, and product performance across channels.
• Support assortment, merchandising, pricing, promotional, and new product strategies to drive growth.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify opportunities, risks, and performance gaps and translate insights into recommendations.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Insights, eCommerce, and cross‑functional teams to support planning and growth initiatives.
• Present recommendations and category insights to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead category reviews and provide recommendations on assortment, pricing, and merchandising.
• Create dashboards and reporting tools to track performance and metrics.
