Enjoy spending your Summer working at one of Chicago's north suburb's most popular golf courses. Chick Evans Golf Course focuses on providing a positive golf experience for golfers of all ages and skill levels, while providing a fun atmosphere and a variety of beverages and grill food for guests to enjoy on and off the course. Our beverage cart attendant position will plan, prepare, and work the beverage cart for public golf on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as outing events. Other days can be considered dependent on weather. Compensation is competitive and all employees earn golf privileges at all 10 FPG courses in the Cook County Chicago area.

Pay Range: $10.00-14.00 per hour + tips

Key Responsibilities of the Beverage Cart Attendant

1. Plan, prepare, and stock beverages in the cooler and beverage cart.
2. Stock snacks and grab & go items for retail.
3. Some physical lifting involved with ice buckets filling beverage carts and lifting canned/bottled beverages.
4. Maintain and exhibit knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.
6. Ensure guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
7. Serve food and beverage items to guests while on the course.
8. Respond to customer questions regarding general information about the facility.
9. Review schedules for changes, calendar of events, and club activities on a daily basis.
10. Accountable for all checks and cash transactions that may, at times, be high volume.
11. Utilize Point of Sales system (POS) and create daily sales reports.
12. Communicate guest concerns or comments immediately to the General Manager and/or inside lead agent.
13. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
14. Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Beverage Cart

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
2. Must be able to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

1. Regular and reliable attendance.
2. Experience preferred but not required.
